:: Business as usual ::
Well, I don't have much to say, but hello world and how are you tonight? I've been seriously busy. Checking out some schools for next year, choir practice at church, homeowork, practicing my lovely piano. Yeah, that pretty much covers it. I am SO TIRED!!!
And you guys, meaning my regular readers (if I have any) have done a horrible job of keeping me accountable with my Bible stuff. I did ask you to help me out, ask about it once in a while. No one has said ANYTHING! Pitiful.
You know what else is pitiful? How hard it is for me to find time to have quiet time. I never knew I was so busy and so unwilling to push other things aside to spend time with God. I'm a mess.
Anyway, last Wednesday our Youth Pastor did a little study on reading your Bible and how important it is to stay in the Word. And I did not catch the key verse that he based all of this off of. Sorry! But I believe it was in Deuteronomy. Did you know that Deutoronomy means "The Word given twice"? Yep. You see, after Moses got the original ten commandments from the mountain, he came back down and found everyone worshipping this idol of a calf. He kind've got mad and broke the first two tablets into pieces. So God told Moses to get two more stone tablets and He put the same original ten commandments on these two. So, yeah. Now you know. :)
