:: Happy Monday! ::
No school today! I feek like singing! Fwee! Well, our family is actually considering doing something together. Like go to Zoo World or whatever with my little sister. We're also considering getting donuts since K.K does that whole "Free donut for every A on your report card" and me and my sister are such good students! :)
Well, I started this Bible study thing on Acts. I'm going strong for now, but I'll have to see how long I can keep it up. I'm really bad about that kind of stuff. I'll start out all energetic and really get into it, but my enthusiasm just dies down. Maybe if some of you guys who read this keep me accountable, I'll be better about it! *hint hint* :)
Well, I'm in a really good mood today. So here's a good-mood verse. Acts 1:10-11 says, "And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel who also said, 'Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.' " This is a promise verse, telling us that Jesus will come back and when He does, he won't be back in the form of a humble little baby. When He comes back, He'll come from the heavens; majestically and triumphantly.
But in case you who are reading this aren't in such a good mood, here is a verse for you. Psalms 4:4 says, "Don't sin by letting your anger gain control over you. Think about it overnight and remain silent." -New Living Translation. The Bible says that it isn't a sin to be angry, but often we sin while we are angry. So be careful when you're mad. It's easy to let your mouth pop off with a retort.
Note- the Bible I use most often is the New King James version. When I don't specify the version, you can assume that it's NKJ.
