:: Uncertainly ::
Having doubts about high school stuff. Wanted to be in the IB program, but I heard it sucks up all your time and there is no way I'm giving up my piano.
Chorus stinks and all the kids in my class are out to get the teacher fired because she talked about Christianity in class and took off ten points from everyone in our class' test grade because of what one kid did (she told us she would if anyone talked, but the kid went and jabbered anyway).
And this piano peice that I have been working on since the dawn of time for solo and ensemble in Feb.? A total waste of time, since our school isn't participating this year. The chorus teacher said she would look into things and see if a few individuals could sing solos without there being an ensemble to represent their school, or if we could tag along with some other school. I don't think it's a possibility. So that stinks too.
But yesterday I got to go to adult choir practice at our church and it was really cool, so that was something positive to put on my blog. And the chorus teacher is going to try to arrange to have an ensemble to meet in the mornings, so that's always a possibility. And even if I don't get to play the piano peice for the solo and ensemble, there is always next year, it's a possible recital peice, and I'll always have the satisfaction of knowing that I could've played it and done well...enough. So life isn't completely horrible. Just a little bit.
