:: If I had a life...I wouldn't be writing this. ::
My Chorus teacher wants me to play piano for her class, but if I do I have to play on this stinky little piano that is eons old and sounds really really bad. I'll be scarred for life!
Want to hear words of wisdom from Nina? Quote of the day is, "We wouldn't worry so much about what people think of us if we realized how seldom they do." Not a Nina original. I got it from my pastor who got it from someone else who prolly got it from someone else!
For the record, "Prolly" is a Nish word and it is short for probably. :)
Verse of the day is a snippet of Joshua 1:5, meaning I'm not typing out the whole thing. Just the part I want you to read.
' "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you." '
That's God talking to Joshue right after Moses died. And yes, I already gave you a verse a lot like this (Matthew 28:20 b), but it's still nice to know the Bible tells us that in the New Testament and the Old Testament. In Matthew, it is Jesus talking to His disciples. In Joshue, it's God talking to Joshua.
Speaking of the Trinity (we weren't, but I was thinking about it because God and Jesus said, like, the exact same thing) here's a verse proving that God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one.
1 John 5:7 says, 'For there are three that bear witness in Heaven: The Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.'
Just so you know, the Word is Jesus. Proof can be found in the first chapter of John, verses 1-5 and then verse 14. Besides, in the first chapter of Genesis in verse 26, God says, "Let Us make man in Our image and according to Our likeness." Matthew 14 also mention it a bit. You might want to read it.
Well, I've got to go. Other things to do. Farewell, dear friends!
