:: Bliss! ::
I'm going a very good job of forgetting...
On Friday, I went to my grandparents' house (they only live an hour away) and visited with cousins and such. We had a bonfire and roasted sticks (a tradition that was started by us kids when we ran out of marshmellows. It's fun to burn stuff). We also went to a baseball game while at our grandparents house. It was the junior college's team or something...It was fun. We had peanuts. :)
On Monday, we partied at Nish's house. On Tuesday me and Liana went with our church Youth to see a movie (Eight Below).
Oh, and my laptop got a virus or something and though my dad thinks it's gone, the computer still has this annoying little pop-up thing telling my that my computer is infected. So I'm using the family computer to do this.
On Tusday, we also had a picnic out at the beach. It was kind've cold and then I got all wet when I chased after a piece of our trash that got blown into the water. Let it never be said that our family litters! Yesterday night, I had choir practice, which I always enjoy. But it means that I get home late (8:50 or so). And then my dad had rented this movie and I just had to watch it so I was up until midnight last night.
But it was a good movie (The Theif Lord, based on the book of the same title by Cornelia Funke, who also wrote such good books as Dragon Rider and Inkheart. I've read all the books mentioned). And besides, I could sleep in this morning (didn't get up till 10).
Anyway, that was my week in a nutshell.
Oh! And guess what! You won't believe this (I hardly can myself) but we are actually going to try to go to this concert on Saturday. It's in a city near us and it's a Rebecca St. James concert, but some other people are also going to be there because they are currently touring with her. Barlowgirl is going to be there! Woot! And they won't sing nearly as much as Rebecca St. James, but I just wanna hear 'em play live. And I'd better not get my hopes up about it being a really really nice concert, because it's a "Bring Your Own Chair" event, but anyway...
I can't wait!
Spring Break Rocks!
Oh, and I also got these new earrings...they're guitars, guitar picks, and stars, all in one! The guitar hangs down, and then the star overlaps the black pick. They are awesome! And they'd go really nice with a Barlowgirl guitar pick necklace, that I want real bad...They are ten dollars, but these earrings were around $6.50! So the necklace really isn't that expensive...
Anyway, I'm out. Even though I get a break from school, I've still got to keep up with my piano and guitar (I learned a new chord!). BYE!!!
