:: *singing* Ding dong, the wicked witch is dead! ::
Evening! Had a very depressing Thursday and Friday, but Saturday was much better. Saw the Pink Panther at the movie theater with Nish and Co. It was very stupid, but perfect for a bunch of goof-offs like us. ;~}
Anyway, Liana got baptized today. ;~} She was saved ages ago but never actually got baptized.
Horst and Margaret, our distant German relations, left today. We'll miss them but they gave us this awesome German game, that luckily game with English instructions too, to remember them by!
Grandma and her good friend Joe also left and I forgot to tell them bye and now I feel bad but I didn't realize they were actually leaving.
Also, Nana and Grandaddy left. They had to go back to Nanny. She doesn't like to be alone.
Anyway, I was just on the BarlowGirl website reading out of their on-line journal thing. Lauren was journaling this time (no surprise there. She's very talkative). Apparently Alyssa fell off the stage (it was a five foot drop) and broke her ankle. And the first thing she said was, "Did anybody see me do that?"
;~} BarlowGirl rocks. Lauren was all like, "So if you're coming to see our shows in the near future, bring crutches to wave in the air or something. It'd be great!"
Anyway, verse of the day:
Luke 11:9-10 says, "So I say to you: ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks the door will be opened." NIV.
That's our Sunday school memory verse for the week. Convenient, right?
Anyway, I'm out. It's getting late!
