:: Didja know? ::
This is my 80th post. YAY! ;~} I'm amazed that I've stuck with it so long...or that you have! Dear readers that I'm assuming I have, it's been fun.
Well, this week starts VBS at my church. I'm helping out with music (as usual) and yesterday I got my T-shirt. I got lost inside it while I was trying to put it on...;~} It's huge! Like, as in two or so sizes too big! But I'll live...as long as I don't suffocate while trying to find the neck hole!
Anyway, I got a pleasant shock as I was teaching music yesterday. The fourth and fifth grade students come in and guess who was there? Nish's little sis! I waved really big and she waved really big and it was cool. ;~} And there was this cute little boy in, like, first grade, maybe kindergarten, with these huge brown eyes and he was watching me the whole time (well, almost the whole time) that we were doing the motions. He was really cute.
Of course, then there were also those really annoying older kids who always get the impression that they're way too cool to be doing silly little kid dance moves to silly little kid songs. I make sure to eye them while I'm doing the worst moves (and some of them are pretty humiliating...)
Just so you don't get the wrong impression, I'm not teaching music alone...Mrs. April, our Youth minister's wife, is really the leader, and I guess Kelsey is a leader too. Then there is me and Liana! YAY!
Nish, if you're reading this you might be interested to know that my younger cousins picked up use of the word "Dag". ;~}
